The Leon TPU Powder is loaded into a specialized container, either manually or via an automatic mechanism — such as a screw or cyclone system. It is then evenly dispersed onto the substrate by a needle roller equipped with an oscillating brush — ensuring uniform powder coverage across the entire printed surface. This powder is then activated by exposure to an IR field, using either an oven or a heater — causing it to melt and bond to the ink layer. Subsequently, a second substrate is introduced into the system via the top pressure roller of a calendar, where it is pressed against the first substrate coated with the activated powder adhesive — creating a strong, durable bond. Alternatively, this powder scattering process can be integrated with a flatbed laminator for enhanced lamination quality.

Formulated as a soft powder — delivering the best possible hand feel on the final garment. Where comfort and softness are the priority, LEON 8 is the product of choice. Operating temperature range of 108–118°C with good dry cleaning resistance and washing resistance of up to 90°C.
Best suited for: T-shirts, hoodies, sportswear, lingerie, lycra fabrics, and any application where a soft, comfortable hand feel is essential.
